Kittner Anlagen-und Maschinenbau EOOD Successfully Implements a Photovoltaic System

We are proud to share that “Kittner Anlagen-und Maschinenbau” EOOD has successfully completed Phase 1 of our investment in green energy – the construction of a new photovoltaic system for self-consumption, combined with batteries. This is an important step toward energy independence and environmental sustainability, contributing to more efficient and eco-friendly production.

What Have We Achieved?
We now have a 72 kW photovoltaic system, built with the support of the European Union, which provides renewable energy for the company’s needs. The installation was successfully commissioned in May 2024. Thanks to the integrated batteries, excess energy generated can be stored and used when the photovoltaic system produces less electricity, increasing the efficiency and reliability of the system.

Real Results and Benefits

• Higher energy security – More than 22% of the plant’s annual consumption will be covered by self-generated renewable energy.
• Efficient energy production – The expected output is 78-80 MWh.
• Cost optimization – Using our own energy sources reduces dependence on external suppliers.
